Deepstream Collect can pick up an ERP extract on a schedule, convert it to an eBusiness standard message, and securely transport it without any IT specialist effort!

This software is designed to automate the exchange of supply chain information between trading partners. For a supplier, it can be configured to pick up customer orders or forecasts on a schedule. Alternatively, a business could schedule it to process an ERP extract in order to generate orders for their suppliers.

Easily configurable Deepstream Collect can read various formats without programming customisation. A true business advantage!

How it works

Deepstream Collect runs as a Microsoft Windows service. A Deepstream Collect instance can have a number of Agents. An Agent connects with a defined datasource and checks for new messages. A datasource can be a directory, an FTP server, or a mailbox.

When a new file is found Deepstream Collect will process it according to rules defined in a Business Channel. A business channel is how Deepstream Collect maintains information about trading partners, more specifically:

• Supplier location and contact
• Customer location and contact
• Message type (order, forecast etc)
• Upload destination
• Information Mapping details

Deepstream Collect will generate industry standard XML electronic orders and forecasts based on the information found in each file. Just as importantly it can securely transport these electronic documents to a number of possible destinations.
